We’ve got the hots for the Collyer Twins. Successful bloggers, travel addicts, and the coolest, prettiest twin DJs to grace our coolest, prettiest planet. We love their laid-back style and thirst for discovery. And so, naturally, there’s nobody else we would rather discuss dreamy vacays with . . .You just got back from the Maldives – it doesn’t get dreamier than that! What were the highlights, what did you discover, and what made it truly memorable?WOW. The Maldives was absolutely incredible. It was our second time there, so we knew we were in for a treat but we’d never stayed at the Conrad before, which was absolutely breathtaking. One of or if not, the nicest place we have ever stayed, which is a big statement! One of the highlights was staying in our water villas. Brushing your teeth in your bathroom whilst watching the tropical fish below you and watching the sunrise and sunset from your jacuzzi feet above the Indian ocean. I mean WOW.Other highlights were watching dolphins on a sunset yacht cruise. Swimming with whale sharks and manta rays. Private candlelit beach dinners with the most AMAZING food. Lobster galore! The list goes on . . .The whole trip was memorable. I don’t believe you can ever rival such natural breathtaking beauty, every moment is a ‘pinch me’ moment, every setting is post-card worthy, and every day there we felt so lucky and blessed to be there.
The food highlights? The food was unreal! So much fresh produce and so much choice. We were eating ten-course meals quite a few of the nights. Each course so delicious! A lot of Lobster, fresh prawns! They really cater well for vegetarians, vegans, gluten-free etc, and the choice was unlimited.A lot of the restaurants have open kitchens, so they cook right in front of you, which I always think is a great sign.Is it possible that there was something you didn’t like or would do differently? Not at all. The only thing we would have done differently is extended our flights and stayed another month!!!You’re sort of travel connoisseurs. What are your packing essentials?Sun lotion! And lots of it. We love DARPHIN suncream, it’s amazing. We have very sensitive skin, so using suncream is an absolute must! Also, a great set of bikinis/swimsuits is an absolute must. Thank God we found Holiday Romance Bikinis in time 🙂Updated Playlist & Headphones – music is a big passion of ours, so we need to have a good playlist of music when we’re away to listen to on the beach. And Origins’ Glow-co-nuts mask! Perfect for hydration on those long-haul flights. What’s been your favourite holiday destination and why?I think one of our favourites has to be the Maldives. We are such sun and beach babies and you just don’t get prettier places to swim and sunbathe than this! 🙂
Where are you off next? We’re currently sitting at the airport, on our way to Berlin! Our next trip we’re thinking might be Jamaica. Yay!What’s your ultimate destination bucket list?Bora Bora! It looks so idyllic, similar kind of vibes to the Maldives. Definitely up there with some of the top destinations we’re desperate to visit!**Share your Holiday Romance Adventure with us.
